Welcomes students as well as others of all ages. All dances taught and prompted to live music. The dance is from 8 - 11 pm with a beginner's session at 7:40pm. Admission is $9; $8 for AACTMAD members; and $5 for students. The dance is held at the Pittsfield Grange Hall, 3337 Ann Arbor-Saline Road, Ann Arbor 48103 ( map ).

Oct. 25 Tom Allen calls.
Music by Phil Chen's Philharmonic Orchestra.

Info:

First-timers: please come a little early. Come alone or bring a friend. Anyone can ask anyone else to dance; experienced dancers are happy to help new people. It's a common practice to change partners after each dance sequence, and it works well while you're learning the basics; after that, it's up to you. Wear cool, comfortable clothes and flat shoes that aren't sticky.
